  • We ask that an adult is home during install so our team has access to your yard. We’ll confirm all design details, gate placements, and property lines to ensure your project goes smoothly.

  • After your free on-site consultation, most projects can begin within one to three weeks, depending on material availability and our current schedule. We’ll provide a clear timeline during your estimate so you know exactly what to expect.

  • In most cities across Hampton Roads, a fence permit may be required. Our team can guide you through the local requirements and, in many cases, handle the permitting process for you.

  • Yes! We offer fence removal and haul-away services. We’ll safely take down your existing fence, clear the area, and prepare the site for your new one—all as part of your custom estimate.

  • Absolutely. As a licensed Virginia fencing contractor, we always contact Miss Utility before digging to mark public underground utility lines and ensure a safe, compliant installation. All private lines are homeowner responsibility.

  • Before installation, please clear the fence line of any debris, outdoor furniture, or large plants. If you have pets, ensure they’re safely secured indoors or away from the work zone. We’ll handle all the rest, including layout and measurement.

Pricing & ESTIMATEs

  • Our fence cost estimator gives a close idea of your total project price, but it’s not a final quote. Because every yard is different, our team offers free on-site consultations to take exact measurements and confirm your materials and layout.

  • We can accept cash, check, credit card and digital payments such as Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay or Zelle. Your total will be separated into two payments, a down payment to secure your materials and a final payment due at the completion of your install.

  • Custom gates, decorative accents, and sloped terrain can slightly affect pricing, but we include those details up front at your on-site consultation. There are no hidden fees—just clear, honest pricing for quality fence installation.

MATERIALS & MAINTENANCE

  • For long-term durability, vinyl and aluminum fences hold up best against Virginia’s humidity, rain, and coastal air. Properly stained and sealed wood fences can also last decades with regular maintenance.

  • We typically stain wood fences after installation to ensure even coverage and full protection once the boards have reached less than 13% moisture level. You can choose from a range of stain colors to complement your home’s exterior.

  • To maintain your fence’s color and integrity, plan to re-stain or reseal every 3 years, depending on weather exposure. Our team also offers professional staining and sealing services for lasting protection.

  • Yes! Whether you’re replacing a damaged section or expanding your yard, in most situations we can match your existing fence’s material, color, and design to ensure a seamless, uniform look.
